Join the training event “Professional Networking: Building Valuable Connections” on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 3 PM to 6 PM.
The ability to network—known as networking—is now an essential skill and a critical success factor in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. We’ve said it for years, and now it’s become a buzzword tossed around in speeches, events, and corporate slogans—but often misunderstood.
Yet the ability to establish and maintain mutually valuable relationships can truly make a difference in anyone’s life and career.
Networking is not about how many people you know or how many business cards you collect at a conference.
Networking is about how many people you can help and how many doors you can open for others.
“Networking is an act of giving,” says Irene Magistro, the event’s speaker. She is the author of the book Intellectual Stripper – Sustainable Networking in a Borderless World, an introduction to becoming a networker starting from the right mindset. Irene is a lecturer on professional networking at various American universities and currently lives and works in the U.S. in a role obtained thanks to her networking skills.
